Instructions:
1. Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Loosen the lug nuts on the rear wheels, but do not remove them.
3. Jack up your car until the rear wheels are off the ground.
4. Support the car with jack stands.
5. Remove the lug nuts and wheels.
6. Locate the two bolts that hold the shock absorber to the lower control arm.
7. Loosen the bolts, but do not remove them.
8. Locate the nut that holds the shock absorber to the upper shock mount.
9. Loosen the nut, but do not remove it.
10. Use a hammer and punch to drive the shock absorber down until the bolts can be removed.
11. Remove the bolts.
12. Remove the nut.
13. Pull the shock absorber out of the car.
14. Install the new shock absorber.
15. Tighten the nut and bolts.
16. Install the wheels and lug nuts.
17. Lower the car off the jack stands.
