When reclaiming personal property from a repossessed vehicle in California, towing and storage fees might accrue during the vehicle's impoundment. While a set state standard fee doesn't exist like some other costs related to reclaiming vehicles and property there are regulations on storage rates:
Storage Charge Per 24 Hours - $42
Initial Processing Fee: $46
- 50% reduction in daily Storage cost when the vehicle owner contacts the Towing, or Law Enforcement that has the vehicle within ten days to recover and personal property and/or vehicle.
