1. Turn the ignition to position 2 (i.e., dash lights come on).
2. Press and release the trip odometer reset button until you see "Service reset?" appear in the odometer display.
3. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button for at least 5 seconds.
4. The message "Service reset!" will reappear, and the oil change reminder will be reset to zero.
5. Turn off the ignition.
Note: The oil change reminder will reset automatically every time you have the oil changed at a Mercedes-Benz dealership.
