Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat, even surface with the parking brake on.
Ensure the hydraulic fluid reservoir is full.
Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery using a 10mm wrench.
Open the trunk and locate the hydraulic pump in the right side compartment.
Turn on the ignition.
Loosen the hydraulic pressure line located on the left side of the pump using the 17 mm wrench.
Start pumping the hydraulic pump until the convertible top is fully open.
Turn off the ignition.
Reconnect the battery terminal.
Test the convertible top by using the switch on the center console to open and close it.
Here are some additional tips:
- If you're having trouble resetting your convertible top, try replacing the hydraulic fluid filter:
- If the convertible top is stuck in the up position, you can manually lower it by using a hex key to turn the manual release screw located on the left side of the pump.
