How do you take off front wheel on a Harley 2008 street glide?

To remove the front wheel on a 2008 Harley Street Glide:

1. Chock the rear wheel to prevent the motorcycle from rolling.

2. Secure the motorcycle with a jack or lift to raise the front wheel off the ground.

3. Remove the axle nut cover. This cover typically has a dust cover that can be pried off with a screwdriver.

4. Loosen the axle nut with a wrench, but do not remove the nut completely.

5. Remove the brake caliper mounting bolts and set aside along with the brake calipers. Hang the calipers from the handlebars with a bungee cord or zip ties.

6. Remove the axle nut and spacer.

- If the spacers do not come off easily, you may need to gently pry them out using a flathead screwdriver or use a rubber mallet to tap the spacer out.

- If you are unable to remove the spacers by hand, you can pry them out by tapping them gently with a rubber mallet or pry tool.

7. Slide the wheel off the axle. There may be resistance from the wheel bearings; gently rock and pull the wheel back and forth until it comes off.

8. Remove the wheel spacers from the axle.

9. Reassemble the wheel in the reverse order of removal. Torque the axle nut to the manufacturer's specifications.
