Locate the brake pedal switch bracket. It is usually located on the firewall, near the brake pedal.
Remove the two bolts that hold the brake pedal switch bracket to the firewall.
Unplug the electrical connector from the brake pedal switch.
Slide the brake pedal switch out of the bracket.
Insert the new brake pedal switch into the bracket.
Plug the electrical connector into the brake pedal switch.
Reinstall the two bolts that hold the brake pedal switch bracket to the firewall.
Test the brake pedal switch by pressing the brake pedal. The brake lights should come on.
