1. Turn off the ignition and allow the vehicle to sit for a few minutes until it has cooled down.
2. Open the hood and locate the ride sensor. It is a small, black cylindrical device with a yellow cap located near the front shock absorber.
3. Use a flat-head screwdriver to loosen the lock nut on the sensor until you can turn the sensor with your hand.
4. Turn the sensor clockwise until the yellow cap is even with the top of the nut.
5. Tighten the lock nut to hold the sensor in place.
6. Close the hood and start the engine to verify that the ride sensor is working properly.
