1. Get inside your Honda Odyssey and close all the doors.
2. Insert the valet key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position. The valet key is the black master key that came with your vehicle.
3. Immediately release the key and remove it from the ignition.
4. Press and hold the "Unlock" button on the driver's door for five seconds.
5. Within five seconds of releasing the "Unlock" button, press and hold the "Lock" button for five seconds.
6. The locks will cycle twice to indicate the programming mode is activated. Release the "Lock" button.
7. Press the "Lock" or "Unlock" button on your remote key fob.
8. The locks will cycle once to indicate the remote has been programmed. Repeat this step for any additional remote fobs you want to program.
9. Wait 15 seconds without pressing any buttons. The remote key fobs are now programmed.
Remember, your Odyssey can store up to four remote keyless fobs. If you try to program a fifth fob, the first programmed fob will be deleted from memory.
