1. Check your battery: Ensure the battery inside your key fob is fresh and has sufficient power to support programming.
2. Prepare your vehicle: Insert the original key into the ignition of your Altima and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Keep it in the ON position and do not touch the ignition further.
3. Initiate programming mode: Locate the valet key for your Altima and insert it into the door lock on the driver's side. Turn the valet key to the left (counterclockwise) and leave it in that position.
4. Perform the programming sequence:
