Where is the crank sensor in a 2001 mitsubishe montero sport?

The crank sensor in a 2001 Mitsubishe Montero Sport is located on the rear of the engine block, just above the oil pan. It is a black plastic sensor with a single electrical connector. To remove the crank sensor, you will need a 10mm socket and a ratchet.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the crank sensor.

2. Use the 10mm socket to loosen the bolt that holds the crank sensor in place.

3. Remove the bolt and pull the crank sensor out of the engine block.
