The camshaft position (CMP) sensor for the 2002 Daewoo Leganza 2.2L DOHC engine is located on the rear of the engine, near the top of the cylinder head. It is a small, cylindrical-shaped sensor with two wires coming from it. The CMP sensor is attached to the engine block with two bolts.

To access the CMP sensor, you will need to remove the following components:

- Serpentine belt

- Air intake duct

- Engine cover

1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the serpentine belt.

3. Remove the air intake duct.

4. Remove the engine cover.

5. Locate the CMP sensor on the rear of the engine, near the top of the cylinder head.

6. Disconnect the two wires from the CMP sensor.

7. Remove the two bolts that attach the CMP sensor to the engine block.

8. Remove the CMP sensor from the engine block.

*Note: Take care not to drop the bolts into the engine bay.*

NOTE: Be sure to replace the CMP sensor with a new one when replacing the serpentine belt.
