Is Your Porsche Ready For Spring?

Can you believe it? Spring is finally here, and let us tell you, we are welcoming the warmer weather with opening arms too. In fact, each service tech on our team is stoked to drive their Porsche out on the open and, most importantly, dry, road this spring. So, in order to keep up with the new weather trends and to make sure our Porsches are doing great, we want to remind you that there are some maintenance tips you should follow if you want to have a well-kept car. Previously, we mentioned the first two tips of five that you shouldn’t skip. Here is the next tip:

1. Change that oil! When was the last time you had your car’s oil changed? It’s important to change it before winter, after winter. After driving 3,000 to 5,000 miles, on average, a vehicle will need to have its oil swapped out for some new lube to keep the engine happy. If you decide against an oil change, you may end up paying a much higher price to keep your engine from combusting. For example, if your engine is fighting for power, you could be losing life expectancy, and a repair may be needed to get the engine back to where it was before the oil went bad. Also, while you’re in the shop, the other fluids, such as transmission, washer and brake fluids, will be checked.
