‘Tis the Season to Give to Those Less FortunateJoin Great Plains Auto Body to collect much-needed items for a holiday food drive to benefit the Food Bank for the Heartland.

The holidays can be particularly stressful for families who already struggle to make ends meet. Food Bank for the Heartland provides staple food items to ensure nobody goes hungry regardless of the time of year.

Holiday Food Drive

Unfortunately, giving often slows near the holidays as people busily prepare for festivities. That’s why it’s so important for organizations like Great Plains Auto Body to partner with its customers to gather donations to help keep the Food Bank stocked.

Most needed items

Though the Food Bank provides myriad items throughout the year, right now it has a real need for the following:

  • Peanut butter
  • Cereal
  • Mac & cheese
  • Canned tuna
  • Canned chicken
  • Pancake mix
  • Canned fruits & vegetables
  • Boxed meals
  • Pork & beans
  • Pasta noodles
  • Pasta sauce

A simple task for huge impact

The next time you head to the grocery store, please buy a couple extra items and drop them off at the front desk of Great Plains Auto Body.

The goal is to fill the Great Plains Auto Body’s Honda Fit with groceries, which will then be donated and delivered to the Food Bank. Donations will be accepted until Thursday, Dec. 15. This is an excellent opportunity to make a huge impact in the lives of others.
