According to data from the Consumer Product Safety Commission, an estimated 100,000 people are treated in U.S. hospital emergency rooms each year for injuries related to off-road vehicles (ORVs), which includes four-wheelers (all-terrain vehicles, or ATVs).
Of those, approximately 10% are children under the age of 16.
