What is considered as being parked?

According to the Uniform Vehicle Code, a vehicle is considered parked when it is temporarily stopped and not moving. This includes vehicles that are:

* Standing at the side of the road

* Parked in a parking lot

* Waiting to pick up or drop off passengers

* Waiting to make a turn

* Disabled and unable to move

However, there are some exceptions to the definition of parked. For example, a vehicle that is stopped at a traffic light or stop sign is not considered to be parked. Additionally, a vehicle that is moving slowly in traffic is not considered to be parked, even if it is not moving at the speed limit.
