How do you replace the side marker bulb on a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport?

To replace the side marker bulb on a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport, follow these steps:

1. Park your vehicle in a safe and well-lit area, and turn off the engine.

2. Locate the side marker bulb assembly. It is located in the front fender, just behind the headlight assembly.

3. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the side marker bulb assembly in place.

4. Once the screws are removed, you can gently pry the side marker bulb assembly out of its housing.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the side marker bulb assembly.

6. Remove the old bulb from the side marker bulb assembly.

7. Insert the new bulb into the side marker bulb assembly.

8. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the side marker bulb assembly.

9. Reinstall the side marker bulb assembly into its housing and secure it with the two screws.

Be sure to dispose of the old bulb in a responsible manner. Most auto parts stores and recycling centers will accept old automotive light bulbs.
