1. Disconnect the battery. This is to prevent the airbag from accidentally deploying while you're working on it.
2. Locate the two T30 Torx screws on the back of the steering wheel. These screws hold the airbag in place.
3. Remove the two screws and carefully pull the airbag forward. Be careful not to drop the airbag, as it is heavy.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the airbag. There will be two connectors, one for the airbag and one for the horn.
5. Once the connectors are disconnected, you can remove the airbag from the vehicle.
To reinstall the airbag, simply follow these steps in reverse order. Be sure to reconnect the electrical connectors properly before bolting the airbag back in place.
