1. A flat blade screwdriver
2. A Phillips head screwdriver
3. A 7mm socket wrench
4. A new ignition switch
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
2. Remove the steering column cover.
3. Use a flat blade screwdriver to pry off the ignition switch lock cylinder retaining ring.
4. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the ignition switch mounting screws.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition switch.
6. Pull the ignition switch out of the steering column.
7. Install the new ignition switch in reverse order of removal.
8. Reconnect the battery negative terminal.
9. Test the ignition switch to make sure it works properly.
