How do you let down back seats of Jaguar 1999 XJ8?

NOTE: Please make sure that the parking break is on before letting down the back seat.

1. Open the door on the back seats you wish to lower.

2. Locate the latch lever on the back seat. It is usually located to the side or bottom of the seat, near the door.

3. Pull the latch lever. This will release the locking mechanism and allow the seat to be lowered.

4. Push the back seat down until it is flat.
