2. Look for the carburetor adjustment screws. There will be two screws, one for the idle speed and one for the air/fuel mixture.
3. The idle speed screw is usually located on the side of the carburetor, near the bottom. It is a small screw with a spring around it.
4. The air/fuel mixture screw is usually located on the top of the carburetor. It is a small screw with a slotted head.
5. To adjust the idle speed, turn the screw clockwise to increase the idle speed or counterclockwise to decrease the idle speed.
6. To adjust the air/fuel mixture, turn the screw clockwise to lean out the mixture or counterclockwise to richen the mixture.
7. Make small adjustments to the screws until the engine is running smoothly and at the desired idle speed.
