The spark plug on the 1997 Honda TRX 250 FourTrax is located on the right side of the engine, just below the fuel tank. It is a black, cylindrical-shaped object with a wire attached to it.
To replace the spark plug, you will need the following tools:
- Socket wrench set
- Spark plug wrench
- Gapping tool
Instructions:
1. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
2. Remove the seat.
3. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug.
4. Use a socket wrench to loosen and remove the old spark plug.
5. Gap the new spark plug to .030-.035 inches.
6. Screw in the new spark plug by hand until it is snug.
7. Tighten the spark plug with a socket wrench.
8. Reconnect the spark plug wire.
9. Replace the seat.
