* Factory-Installed Cargo Light: If your Ranger came with a factory cargo light, the switch is typically integrated into the light itself. There's no separate switch on the dash or elsewhere. The light usually turns on when the tailgate is opened, and may also have a separate switch directly on the light assembly. Check the light fixture itself for a small switch.
* Aftermarket Cargo Light: If it's an aftermarket addition, the switch location is entirely up to the installer. It could be anywhere from a dash-mounted switch, to a wired-in switch near the light itself, to a relay controlled by another switch. You'll need to trace the wiring from the light to find the switch.
