1. Kneel or sit on the passenger side floor. You'll need to be able to reach under the dashboard.
2. Locate the fuse panel: It's usually situated low on the passenger side, under the dashboard, near the kick panel. You might need a flashlight to see it clearly. It should look like a flat plastic panel with numerous fuses and possibly relays. There may be some small clips or retainers holding it in place, but it's usually not fastened very securely.
3. Gently pull the panel outward. There might be some slight resistance but don't force it. You'll likely find that it's held by a friction fit or very small clips. Once it's loose, you can pull it away from the dash to access the fuses and relays.
Important Note: Once you've accessed the fuses, be careful handling them. Avoid touching the metal terminals and never work on the electrical system with the ignition switched on. If you're unsure about which fuse is which, consult your owner's manual. It will have a fuse panel diagram showing the location and amperage of each fuse.
