A 1998 Lincoln Town Car does not have a transmission dipstick. The transmission is sealed and uses an electronic monitoring system to manage the transmission fluid level. There's no way to check it with a dipstick. If you need to check the transmission fluid level or condition, you'll need to take it to a mechanic.
