Location of fuel filter 1987 Corvette?

On a 1987 Chevrolet Corvette, the fuel filter is located in the fuel tank. It's not a replaceable, separate filter like in many other vehicles. The entire fuel pump assembly, which includes the filter, must be removed to replace it.
