On a 1997 Chevrolet S10 with a 4.3L V6, Bank 1 Sensor 2 (O2 sensor) is located on the
exhaust manifold or pipe downstream of the catalytic converter on the passenger side (right side) of the engine. "Downstream" means after the catalytic converter in the exhaust system.
It's important to be precise because there are other oxygen sensors. Bank 1 refers to the side of the engine containing cylinder #1. Sensor 2 always refers to the post-catalytic converter sensor.
