What side of thermostat goes toward motor on a 2004 Chrysler Sebring?

The thermostat on a 2004 Chrysler Sebring, like most thermostats, has a bleed valve (a small hole). The side with the bleed valve should face away from the engine block (toward the hose). The other side, the flatter side, will then be facing the engine.
