Where is the fuel cutoff switch on a 1995 Nissan pickup?

The 1995 Nissan Pickup (Hardbody) fuel cutoff switch is not a standard feature. Unlike some vehicles, Nissan didn't include a readily accessible, easily located fuel cutoff switch in this model year. There might be an inertia switch (intended for crash safety) somewhere under the dash or in the engine bay, but that's not a manually operated on/off switch for fuel.

To shut off the fuel supply in an emergency, you'll need to either disconnect the fuel pump wiring (requires some mechanical knowledge and potentially locating the fuel pump relay) or disconnect the fuel line itself (even more involved and requires tools). However, doing this while the engine is running is strongly discouraged, as it could lead to engine damage.

If you need a fuel shut-off switch installed, you would have to have one professionally added.
