Where is the Voltage regulator located on a 97 jeep 4lt?

On a 1997 Jeep 4.0L, the voltage regulator isn't a separate component like in older vehicles. It's integrated inside the alternator itself. You won't find a standalone voltage regulator to replace. If you're having charging problems, you'll likely need to replace the entire alternator.
