What year did dodge start putting the fuel pump outside gas tank on a ram b250 van?

Dodge never put the fuel pump *outside* the gas tank on a Ram B250 van (or any other vehicle for that matter, to my knowledge). The fuel pump is always located *inside* the fuel tank for safety and protection.
