* Sometimes it's a separate tube. Some configurations might have a fill tube that isn't directly connected to the dipstick.
* Check your owner's manual: The best place to find the exact location is your owner's manual. It will show you a diagram of the transmission and point out where the dipstick and fill points are located.
If you can't find the dipstick, don't try to randomly add fluid. Incorrectly adding transmission fluid can cause serious damage. Finding your transmission type definitively might require looking at the transmission itself for a casting number.
