Instead of trying to "reset" it, you need to diagnose and fix the underlying problem. Here's what to do:
1. Check the Oil Level: This is the most important first step. Use the dipstick to check if the oil level is low. If it is, add the correct type and amount of oil specified in your owner's manual. After adding oil, run the engine for a few minutes and check the light again. If the light goes off, you might have simply had low oil.
2. Check for Leaks: Inspect the engine for any visible oil leaks. Look around the oil pan, filter, and gaskets.
3. Oil Pressure Sensor/Sending Unit: A faulty oil pressure sensor can trigger the light even if the oil pressure is fine. This is a relatively inexpensive part to replace, but requires some mechanical skill to access and replace.
4. Oil Pump: A failing oil pump is a serious problem. This is much more involved to fix and requires professional attention.
5. Worn Engine Bearings: Low oil pressure can indicate worn bearings inside the engine. This is a major repair.
If the oil pressure light remains on after checking the oil level, you should NOT continue driving the car. Continued operation with low oil pressure will likely cause irreparable engine damage. Have the car towed to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repair. They'll have the proper tools and expertise to identify the cause and fix the problem. Attempting repairs yourself without experience could worsen the situation.
