If you don't have the manual, try these common locations:
* Under the hood, in the fuse box: This is the most likely location. The fuse box is usually near the battery or firewall. The relay itself might be labeled or you may need to check the fuse box diagram (often printed on the inside of the fuse box lid).
* Under the dash, in the fuse box: Some vehicles have a secondary fuse/relay box under the dashboard.
Look for a relay that's labeled "Fuel Pump" or has a symbol resembling a fuel pump. If not labeled, you may need to use a multimeter to test relays to identify the fuel pump relay by checking continuity when the ignition is switched on (this requires some electrical knowledge and caution).
Important Safety Note: Always disconnect the negative battery terminal before working with electrical components in your vehicle.
