What should the voltage output be on a 1992 Chevy lumina 3.1l alternator?

A 1992 Chevy Lumina 3.1L alternator should output between 13.5 and 14.5 volts when the engine is running at idle. This voltage can fluctuate slightly depending on the load (accessories running, headlights on, etc.), but should remain within that range.
