1. Consult your owner's manual: This is the most reliable source. It will have a fuse diagram showing the amperage and location of the horn fuse.
2. Check the fuse box diagrams: There are usually diagrams inside the fuse box lids (under the hood and inside the car). These diagrams will show which fuse controls what circuit.
3. Look for the fuse labeled "Horn" or a similar designation: The fuse box diagrams will use labels or symbols to identify the function of each fuse.
Do not simply replace the fuse with a higher amperage fuse. Using a higher amperage fuse can damage your car's electrical system if there's a short circuit. A blown fuse indicates a problem that needs to be addressed – replacing it with a higher amperage fuse is a temporary fix that may lead to a bigger problem.
