To find the correct fuse:
1. Consult your owner's manual: This is the most reliable source. It will have a fuse diagram showing the location of all fuses and what each one controls.
2. Check the fuse box diagrams: There are usually two fuse boxes in a Ford Ranger: one under the hood and one inside the cabin (often under the dash). Look for diagrams on the inside of the fuse box covers. These diagrams usually list the amperage and what circuit each fuse protects.
3. Look for a fuse labeled "fog lights," "fog lamps," or a similar designation. If you don't see one specifically labeled, you might have to use the process of elimination by carefully checking fuses one by one *while the fog lights are switched on*. A blown fuse will usually be visually obvious. Remember to only check one fuse at a time and to replace it with a fuse of the correct amperage.
Without your owner's manual or access to the fuse box diagrams specific to your vehicle, pinpointing the exact fuse number is impossible.
