Can you remove the oil pan on a 1994 Chevy Caprice Classic with 5.7LV8 without pulling motor?
It's extremely difficult, if not impossible, to remove the oil pan on a 1994 Chevy Caprice Classic 5.7L V8 without dropping the engine or at least substantially lowering it. The subframe and various components in the way make access incredibly challenging. While some smaller cars might allow for oil pan removal without engine removal, the size and design of the Caprice's engine bay makes this highly impractical. You'll likely spend far more time wrestling with it than it would take to partially lower or even remove the engine.
