Who built the first car in US?
There's no single definitive answer to who built the *first* car in the US, as it depends on how you define "car". Several inventors were working on self-propelled vehicles simultaneously in the late 19th century. However, often cited as among the earliest are the Duryea brothers, Charles and Frank, who built and successfully operated a gasoline-powered vehicle in 1893. Their car is widely considered one of the first successful American gasoline-powered automobiles.
