Who invented the first truck?
There's no single inventor of the first truck. The evolution of the truck was gradual, with many contributors. Early designs incorporated elements of horse-drawn carriages and steam engines. However, Karl Benz is often credited with creating the first practical internal combustion engine-powered vehicle which eventually led to the development of trucks. His early designs in the late 1800s laid the groundwork for what we recognize as trucks today. Others further refined and developed these early designs, adding features and capabilities over time. Therefore, it's more accurate to say that the truck was a product of evolution rather than a single invention.
