Where is the oil drain plug on a FWD 2000 Chevrolet Silverado with 5.3 L engine?

The oil drain plug on a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L engine (FWD doesn't exist on Silverados; they're RWD) is located on the bottom of the oil pan, at the very bottom of the engine. It's usually a fairly large bolt head (likely 13/16" or 21mm) and often has a noticeable square or hex shaped head. You'll need to get under the truck to see it. Be sure to have a drain pan ready to catch the oil.
