Who is know as the father of motor car?

There's no single "father of the motor car" as its development was a gradual process with contributions from many inventors. However, Karl Benz is most often credited with inventing the first practical automobile. His Benz Patent-Motorwagen, patented in 1886, is widely considered the first true automobile.
