* Bank 1 always refers to the side of the engine containing cylinder #1.
* Bank 2 is the other side of the engine.
To find them, you'll need to:
1. Determine your engine size: Check your vehicle's paperwork or the sticker on the driver's side doorjamb. It will specify the engine displacement (e.g., 4.3L V6, 5.7L V8).
2. Consult a repair manual or online diagram: Once you know the engine type, search for a repair manual specific to your year and engine. A Haynes or Chilton manual will be very helpful, as will online diagrams you can find through a search like "[Your Year] Chevy Blazer [Engine Size] Oxygen Sensor Location." These diagrams will show the exact location of each sensor.
General Advice: The oxygen sensors are usually located in the exhaust manifold or the exhaust pipe close to the manifold. They are usually threaded into the exhaust system. Be careful when working near them as the exhaust system gets very hot.
