To stop fuel flow in an emergency, your best bet is to disconnect the negative (-) terminal on the battery. This will cut power to the fuel pump, preventing further fuel delivery. This is generally considered the closest equivalent to an emergency fuel shutoff switch in modern vehicles.
Important Note: Disconnecting the battery will also disable other critical systems, including power steering and braking. Only do this if absolutely necessary to prevent a fire, and as quickly as possible to minimize risks from other safety systems being disabled.
