Can you drive a car with rounded cam in 350 Chevy engine?

You can *physically* install a camshaft with rounded lobes into a 350 Chevy engine, but you absolutely should not drive the car with it. Rounded cam lobes are severely damaged and will not function properly. This will lead to:

* Extremely poor performance: The engine will likely run very rough, lack power, and have significantly reduced efficiency.

* Valve damage: The rounded lobes won't lift the valves sufficiently or with the proper timing, potentially causing valve float, bent pushrods, broken rocker arms, or even severely damaged valves.

* Engine damage: The erratic operation resulting from the rounded lobes can lead to catastrophic engine failure.

A rounded camshaft is a sign of serious internal engine wear and should be replaced immediately. Attempting to drive the car will only cause further and more costly damage. You need a new camshaft and likely a thorough engine inspection to assess any other damage caused by the failed cam.
