When the first automatic car was made?

There's no single answer to when the *first* automatic car was made, as the development was gradual. Several inventors worked on different aspects of automatic transmission technology throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

However, a strong contender for one of the earliest examples of a car with an automatic transmission system is the 1904 Cadillac. While not fully automatic in the modern sense, it featured a planetary gearset-based system that offered a simpler, less manual shifting experience than contemporary cars. This system, further developed, became a foundation for future automatic transmissions.
