Where is the thermostat located on a Chevy Cavalier 2.2L non Ecotec?

On a Chevy Cavalier with a 2.2L non-Ecotec engine, the thermostat is located at the rear of the engine, on the intake manifold. It's often a bit difficult to access and you might need to remove some components to get to it properly.
