Location of back up light switch on a 1995 jeep Cherokee?

There isn't a separate "backup light switch" in the same way that there's a switch for headlights. On a 1995 Jeep Cherokee, the backup lights are controlled by a reverse light switch which is integrated into the transmission. It's activated mechanically when you shift into reverse. Therefore, there's no switch to find on the dashboard or elsewhere. If your backup lights aren't working, the problem lies within the switch itself (located on the transmission), the wiring, the bulbs, or a blown fuse.
