1. Park your Pacifica on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down for a few minutes.
2. Open the hood of your Pacifica.
3. Locate the oil filter housing. The oil filter housing is located on the front side of the engine, near the top. It is a black cylindrical-shaped object with a black plastic cap.
4. Remove the oil filter cap by turning it counterclockwise. Be careful not to spill any oil.
5. Remove the old oil filter from the housing. Be careful not to spill any oil.
6. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
7. Screw the new oil filter into the housing until it is snug. Do not over-tighten the oil filter.
8. Replace the oil filter cap by turning it clockwise until it is snug.
9. Close the hood of your Pacifica.
