- The interior lights. If the interior lights are left on, they will drain the battery over time.
- The headlights. If the headlights are left on, they will drain the battery over time.
- The glove compartment light. If the glove compartment light is left on, it will drain the battery over time.
- The trunk light. If the trunk light is left on, it will drain the battery over time.
- The radio. If the radio is left on, it will drain the battery over time.
- The air conditioner. If the air conditioner is left on, it will drain the battery over time.
- The heater. If the heater is left on, it will drain the battery over time.
- The power windows. If the power windows are left open, they will drain the battery over time.
- The sunroof. If the sunroof is left open, it will drain the battery over time.
If you suspect that one of these electronic parts is causing your battery to drain, you can try disconnecting the part from the battery and see if the battery still drains. If the battery no longer drains, then you have found the culprit.
You can also try using a multimeter to test the electrical current draw from each electronic part. If a part is drawing too much current, then it could be causing the battery to drain.
