Locate the alarm system control module: This is usually located under the dashboard, behind the glove compartment, or in the trunk of the car.
Turn off the alarm: There should be a button or switch on the control module that you can use to turn off the alarm. Press and hold this button or switch until the lights stop flashing.
If there is no button or switch, you may need to use a key or remote to turn off the alarm. Refer to your owner's manual for specific instructions for your vehicle.
Disconnect the battery: If you are unable to turn off the alarm using the control module or remote, you can try disconnecting the battery. This will cut power to the alarm and should stop the lights from flashing.
To disconnect the battery, open the hood of the car and locate the battery. There will be a negative terminal (marked with a "-") and a positive terminal (marked with a "+"). Use a wrench to loosen the nut on the negative terminal, and then remove the cable. This will disconnect the battery and stop the alarm.
Once the lights have stopped flashing, you can reconnect the battery. Be sure to reconnect the negative terminal first, and then the positive terminal.
This should stop the flashing lights inside your 1984 Corvette caused by the alarm. If the lights continue to flash, you may need to have your vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic or auto electrician.
